Guitar Lessons

Your Music Academy offers one-to-one guitar tuition for all ages. Our Mexborough based Guitar music school is centrally located, has on-site parking and a comfortable parents/family waiting room with coffee, snacks and free wifi. We have invested much time and money in creating the ultimate music learning facility - with the needs of both students and their families central to our decision making. 

One-to-One Guitar Tuition

The most effective learning occurs with individual attention. Guitar lesson lengths are either half hour, or an hour.

Music Theory

As part of our guitar lesson course, students learn about music theory. Theory can enhance guitar playing and help students gain appreciation for reading music & chord charts.

Learn The Music YOU Want To Play

As well as following the guitar course books, our guitar teachers will encourage students to obtain supplementary books & recordings to learn for fun alongside their normal practice books. Bring in your favourite guitar tracks and our teachers will help you learn them!

 Who Should Take Up Guitar Lessons?
Adults and children aged 6 and up who are interested in guitar are all welcomed. We offer a one-off taster lesson to potential new students.


How Often are Guitar Lessons Held?
Lessons are generally once a week, however, we are very flexible to accommodate your lifestyle.
